November 1, 2022 : Media Release

Thanks to a Recordings at Risk grant through the Council on Library and Information Resources (CLIR), the Rasmuson Library Oral History Department at the University of Alaska Fairbanks has professionally digitized 241 historical KUAC radio programs and has added these recordings to their collection.

The radio programs include Chinook, Homefires, I Didn’t Know That, Conversations with Susan McInnis, and Sundays at Noon.

You may listen to these fantastic radio programs online through the UAF Rasmuson & Mather Libraries Library Catalog or through the Historical Audio section of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives Digital Repository.

For more information contact Leslie McCartney, Curator of Oral History, lmccartney@alaska.edu.
