On this page we'll review:
“A system that prevents Internet users from accessing certain Web content without a paid subscription.”
If you're a student, faculty, or staff member of a university, your university library may have access to library databases. Using these databases you can access scholarly articles, magazine articles, newspaper articles, videos, book/ebooks and more.
You can even access materials your library doesn't own using a service called Interlibrary Loan.
For University of Alaska Fairbanks folks:
If you're not affiliated with a university library, check with your local public library to see if they offer database access. If you're in Alaska, you have access to the SLED databases.
This project and the eBook collections noted in this guide were made possible in part by the Institute of Museum and Library Services- American Rescue Plan Act Grant: G14524.
