Instruction: SLED Databases

SLED Databases

After graduating or leaving UAF, many of the library databases you've used will no longer be accessible.

  • The state of Alaska offers free access, for Alaskan residents, to some of the databases you've become familiar with, such as Academic Search Premier.

Access these databases from SLED (Statewide Library Electronic Doorway).

  • If you don't live in Alaska, check with your local public library to see what databases they have to offer.
