BP donates $1 million to archive Stevens' papers

Alaska Film Archives on YouTube

Over a dozen clips of historical film footage from the Alaska Film Archives have been loaded on YouTube.

You can go directly to the alaskafilmarchives channel, of search YouTube for "Alaska Film Archives" to pull up historical footage including moving images of of sled dogs, early aviation, the 1967 Fairbanks flood, and a whale rescue in Barrow.

Alaska Film Archives, Part of the Alaska & Polar Regions Collections, is located on the 3rd floor of Rasmuson Library.

Scopus Trial Resumed

The library's trial of Elsevier's Scopus citation product is now back online. We do not know the cause of the outage, only that Elsevier informed us that the outage included all institutional trials, not just ours. They will extend the trial date for us, expiration date unknown at this time.

Unalaska Jukebox Goes Live

The Unalaska Community of Memory is now available at http://jukebox.uaf.edu/pjweb/progusecomunak.htm. This project features stories told in a 1996 gathering in Unalaska and includes historic film, photos and links to additional information about Unalaska.
