Kuskokwim Consortium Library Alaska Room Guide

The Kuskokwim Consortium Library serves the community of Bethel and the students, staff, and faculty of the University of Alaska Fairbanks Kuskokwim Campus. We also provide a conduit to library services to the many communities in the YK Delta that don't have a library. Please contact us if you need assistance accessing library services. Some of the following are resources available to all people living in the YK Delta.

The Yupiit Piciryarait Cultural Center is a unique facility that celebrates the Yup’ik culture. The center serves as a regional gathering center for Southwest Alaskans to stimulate ideas, advance their knowledge, and enhance the quality of life.The cultural center houses the Kuskokwim Consortium Library, Kuskokwim Art Guild giftshop and Museum which provide access to information, resources, and services to all members of the Bethel community and region. The multi-purpose rooms are designed for community and cultural events and conferences. These rooms are in high demand. The Kuskokwim Consortium Library and Bethel Community Services Foundation are happy to announce that the Dolly Parton Imagination Library is available in Bethel as of July 2020. Kids age birth to 4 can sign up for the Imagination Library here in order to receive one book per month in the mail. By the time your kid starts school they will have their very own library of high-quality children's books! There is no cost to families for this service, however the cost to the library is $25/ per kid/ per year. Please consider making a donation to the Friends of the Library fund with Bethel Community Services Foundation today in order to make this program sustainable!
