BioSciences Library Now Closed

The UAF BioSciences Library is now permanently closed.  Our reference collection and print-only journals have been moved to the Keith B. Mather Library. The circulation collection will be redistributed over the coming year between the Rasmuson and Mather libraries, or stored in closed stacks.

In the meantime, bioscience items can be requested through Interlibrary Loan or patrons can browse the stacks by appointment only.

For research assistance, to make an appointment, for urgent requests, or to have an item placed in the circulation collection, contact Science Librarian Steven Hunt at Mather Library (sdhunt3@alaska.edu or 474-1177).

For up-to-date information follow the BioSciences Update blog from the Rasmuson Library home page (library.uaf.edu).

  1. Sad… I used to love sitting in this library during my years at UAF. It was one of my favorite buildings, which was in large part due to the ambiance created by the stacks of materials.
