Downloading EndNote citations from library databases.
Endnote Connection Files
Many connection files require a user name and password. We have stored connection files that require a username/password on the UA Portal. To download the files:
- Log into the myUA Portal
- Click Groups (located near the upper right)
- Click the Groups Index tab
- In the Group Search box type Rasmuson
Then click Search - Click Rasmuson Library Database

EndNote
EndNote is a commercially available software program, available for Windows and Macintosh, used to manage bibliographic citations. You can use it to search bibliographic databases and import citations, using either connection files or import filters. UAF has an EndNote license that faculty, students, and staff can use. To download Endnote, go to the OIT Download Site.
Finding scores and musical recordings in Rasmuson Library
Starting your search
- When looking for materials in the UAF libraries, don't hesitate to ask a librarian at the Reference Desk, 474-7482. It's our job to help you find materials.
- Use Goldmine, the library catalog, to find scores and recordings owned by the Rasmuson Library.

Database Searches via Dialog
Rasmuson Library offers searches of databases offered through the Dialog online information retrieval service. With over 450 databases from a broad range of disciplines, Dialog provides international access to information in a broad scope of subject areas, including the Social SciSearch database (the online Social Sciences Citation Index). A list of databases searchable through Dialog can be found on the Dialog Site.
