Welcome New Students!

Parking is available for visitors to the campus. There are several options, three of which are listed below:

1. The Plaza Lot. This is located directly south of the library and is the closest visitor parking to the library. It is metered from 8-5 Monday through Friday. To get there from campus take Tanana Loop to S. Chandalar Street to Salcha Street.

The Elmer E. Rasmuson Library Student-of-the-Semester is chosen from among current Student Assistants employed by the Library, by the members of the EOTQ committee. Nominations may be made by any employee (staff, faculty, or student) of the Rasmuson Library, as well as any other University employee or Library patron. Nominations will not be accepted from the Library Dean or any current member of the EOTQ Committee. Awards will be given in Fall Semester, Spring Semester and one for the Summer, three total per year.

Guidelines for Nominations

Now it's easier than ever to nominate someone for Employee of the Quarter. Pick one (or more!) categories below and show us in a few words the reason(s) your nominee should be honored. Voting is easy and quick! Let's pay tribute to each other by recognizing our contributions, big and small, to the library.

Anyone can nominate! Any Rasmuson Library or BioSciences Library employee can be nominated.**
