Interlibrary Loan Copyright Restrictions
The copyright Law of the United States (Title 17, United States Code) governs the making of photocopies or other reproductions of copyrighted material.
Under certain conditions specified in the law, libraries and archives are authorized to furnish a photocopy or other reproduction. One of these specified conditions is that the photocopy or reproduction is not to be "used for any purpose other than private study, scholarship or research."

What if I have overdue Interlibrary Loan materials?
If you have ILL material that is overdue, a notice will be sent to you. If the item is not returned you will be blocked both from further ILL loan activity and general borrowing from the library.
If an item has not been returned 3 weeks after its due date, it will be invoiced (to you) for replacement fees. When an item has been invoiced, a block is placed on your patron ID. This block suspends all library privileges. When the item is returned or paid for, basic library privileges are reinstated. However, ILL privileges are still suspended for 60 days.
How can I renew Interlibrary Loan materials?
Materials MUST BE RENEWED during the appropriate time frame. Renewals can only be submitted 2 days prior to their due date up through the date they are due. Items ARE NOT eligible for renewal past their due date.
Make sure you check your email for automatic system generated notifications regarding your pending due dates.
Renewals must be approved by the library that sent the item. Please check your item first to make sure that "No renewals" is NOT printed or stamped on the label affixed to the cover of your item.
