EndNote Connection Files

EndNote is a commercially available software program, available for Windows and Macintosh, used to manage bibliographic citations. You can use it to search bibliographic databases and import citations, using either connection files or import filters.

Many connection files require a user name and password. We have stored connection files that require a username/password on the UA Portal. To download the files:

1. Log into the myUA Portal [1]
2. Click Groups (located near the upper right)
3. Click the Groups Index tab
4. In the Group Search box type Rasmuson
   Then click Search
5. Click Rasmuson Library Database
   You should now be looking at the Group Home Page for Rasmuson Library Databases
6. Click Files (located on the left navigation list)
7. Click Endnote Connection Files
   You should see the connection files on the right side of the window
8. Download the connection files you need to your EndNote Connections folder
   For example, on Windows, c:\Program Files\EndNote\Connections\

   You should now be able to connect to the database from within EndNote
