UAF and Local Area Libraries

There are three libraries on the UAF campus.

  1. The Rasmuson Library is the located on the east side of campus.

  2. The BioSciences Library is part of the Rasmuson Library and is located on the west side of campus-- room 186 of the Arctic Health Research Building [2].

  3. The Keith B. Mather Library [4] is the most northern special library in the United States. The library supports the research of the Geophysical Institute (GI) and the International Arctic Research Center (IARC), and the geophysical research community.

  4. The Noel Wien Public Library [6] is the main branch of the Fairbanks North Star Borough Public Libraries. It's located near downtown Fairbanks -- 1215 Cowles Street.
