Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives

The mission of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives (APRCA) is to acquire, preserve, and provide access to materials that document the past and present of Alaska and the polar regions.

Check out our About section for Hours, Contact Information, Frequently Asked Questions, and Policies and Forms.

Also check out our Collections, Special Projects, and consider giving a gift or donation to the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives.

Services for ONLY the archives unit (photographs, maps and manuscripts) of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives (APRCA) will be available on a limited basis through May 30, 2018, due to repairs.

During this time, archives staff will continue to provide research support by appointment only. You can contact the archives by phone at 907-474-2791 (please leave a message), or via email at rsperanza@alaska.edu, for information or to schedule a visit.
