See our Library Services Updates page for information about changes to Rasmuson Library Services.

UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

Try out AAS Historical Periodicals Collection: 1691-1820

We're running a trial of American Antiquarian Society (AAS) Historical Periodicals Collection.

The AAS Historical Periodicals Collection: 1691-1820 contains a limited data set from the extensive collection at the American Antiquarian Society, the premier library documenting the life of America's people from the Colonial Era through the Civil War and Reconstruction. This collection contains more than 6,500 historical periodical titles in five series dating from 1693 to 1877.

Try it out and let us know what you think. The trial ends Dec. 15th.
