Join us for a conversation with Sherna Gluck, a pioneer in oral history and feminist studies. In her early work, she recorded American suffragists, preserving their description of the historic movement for equality. She is known for her work on feminist scholarship, which includes interviews with and publications on the lives of Palestinian women. Under her direction, the Oral History Program at California State University, Long Beach was one of the first to offer recordings and supporting documentation on-line. She is a leader in the Oral History Association and was a major contributor to the association’s Principles and Best Practices for Oral History.
