See our Library Services Updates page for information about changes to Rasmuson Library Services.

UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

New online collection added to the UAF JSTOR package

Rasmuson Library was recently able to purchase the Arts and Sciences V collection of full text journals in JSTOR. This addition to our JSTOR holdings provides significant content in history, art, literature and language, and more. We are now missing only two of the Arts and Sciences collections, sections III and VIII, and we hope to complete the package at a future date. The JSTOR archive is heavily used by scholars in all disciplines, and provides perpetual access to entire sets of online journals. To see more about this addition, see JSTOR's description. For help in accessing or searching JSTOR content, please contact the library Reference Desk
