UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

New Medium-format Camera Scanning System

The new medium format DTR cam is being installed in the Photo Lab.​Digital Photographic Services, in the Rasmuson Library, proudly announces the new installation of a medium-format camera scanning system.

We have just upgraded our equipment to the newest technology and have also completed a rigorous training session.

If you have any large pieces of artwork, maps, etc, that you'd like a digital copy of, please keep us in mind.
