UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

The Alaska History Store presents the Holiday Historical Photograph Reprint Sale

  • Where: Kayak Room #408, in Rasmuson Library, on the UAF Campus (located in the hall leading from the Library to the Great Hall)

Purchase reproductions of historic Alaskan photographs, panoramas, rare maps and notecards. Sizes range from notecard to poster size. Prices from $3.00.

Proceeds benefit the continuing access and preservation work of the Alaska and Polar Regions Collections & Archives of Rasmuson Library, University of Alaska Fairbanks.
