UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

EndNote/Mendeley Beginner's Workshop: Nov. 13 at 1pm

Tuesday, Nov. 13 from 1:00-2:30pm we'll be hosting a beginner's workshop for using EndNote and Mendeley in room 301 Rasmuson Library.

Learn how to:

  • Select and download a program
  • Use and sync web and desktop libraries
  • Create a citation library and organize your research
  • Download citations from library databases
  • Add new citations of all formats
  • Use your program when writing
  • Explore citation styles

If possible, bring your laptop!
