UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons can again place holds on our materials through the public library's catalog. Items can be picked up at the Noel Wien Library or the North Pole Branch.

University patrons who are reluctant to enter the library can still check materials out by appointment. Set an appointment to pick up items.

EndNote Webcast March 13, 1-3pm

 Donna Kirking, an EndNote trainer, will be presenting a webcast on Thursday, March 13 from 1:00-3:00pm. The webcast will cover advanced topics such as:

  • batch importation of existing PDF's
  • auto-generating citation data from a batch import
  • using PDF metadata

There will be lots of time for questions as well.

Users should already have EndNote installed and working on their personal computers prior to the webcast. It will not cover installation.

To register for the webcast, users should:

  2. Fill in requested information. Once the host approves the request, users will receive a confirmation email with instructions for joining the meeting.
