UAF students, staff, and faculty can now enter the library to pick out or to return their own materials, accessing the library by PolarExpress card.

Public library patrons may check materials out by appointment from Rasmuson Library. Set up an appointment to pick up items.

Alaska History Store Holiday Sale

Please consider supporting the Rasmuson Library as you shop for Holiday gifts this year. We have over 400 historic images of those most often requested from the Archives.

To make shopping even sweeter, we are offering ONE HALF OFF ANY ITEMS CURRENTLY IN STOCK. This will include reproductions in all standard sizes, from 8.5X11 to posters. We also have panoramic images from around the State of Alaska, as well as a few in Canada. In addition, we carry beautiful notecards divided into 26 different topics, such as: mining, nautical, horses, and Alaska birds.

Please see the Alaska History Store website for a full view of what we offer. Note, the website does not reflect what we have in inventory. We will be happy to take your print order at the normal price, if we are out of stock on the items you’d like.

You may also make purchases from the display located just in front of the Circulation Desk on the main floor of the Library.
