Can minors (under 18) obtain library accounts

Yes, minors can obtain library accounts. If they have a Public Library card, they may use that to check out at Rasmuson Library, if they are in good standing at the public library. They may not use another's card. Please note, most of our collection is geared towards the college age and above, so, with the exception of the Juvenile section, not much is for the under 18 age group. The Rasmuson Library also adheres to the ALA's Freedom to Read guidelines, regardless of age.
