All Hours Study Room

Rasmuson Library offers a 24 hour study space and computer lab located on the main entry floor of the building and is open during regular library hours. For added security when the library is closed access to the all hours study requires a valid Polar Express ID.

Copiers & Printers

Copiers and printers are located throughout the library. Printing and copying require a deposit of “Bear Bucks” to your Polar Express account or you can purchase a copy card for $1.00 and add the amount of cash you will need to make prints. Machines called “value transfer stations,” which allow you to add money to Polar Express accounts, are located in Rasmuson Library, BioSciences Library, Wood Center, MBS lobby, and Bunnell Computer Lab.

Polar Express Card is Your Library Card!

All current students, staff and faculty are eligible for a Polar Express identification card, available in Room 203 of the Eielson Building. Your Polar Express card allows you to:

• Check out books/videos/DVDs and other library materials
• Check out media equipment including laptops, digital cameras, and more
• Check out reserve materials
• Review your library account and renew books
• Recall materials
• Request materials from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan services

Bring your Polar Express card to the library Circulation Desk to register for library services. First time users need to fill out a registration form available at any UAF library.
