Interlibrary Loan (ILLiad)
Do you need books, photocopies, or audiovisual materials that are not available on campus? Interlibrary Loan would like to help! Register in Illiad (you must first have registered with the library circulation desk) and you’re all set to request items you need for your research. Several online vendors including “OCLC “ and “CSA” support ILL requests directly from their databases. When you’re viewing a specific item in a database, look for the Nanook icon and/or the phrase “Submit a UAF ILL request”.
Polar Express Card is Your Library Card!
All current students, staff and faculty are eligible for a Polar Express identification card, available in Room 203 of the Eielson Building. Your Polar Express card allows you to:
- Check out books/videos/DVDs and other library materials
- Check out media equipment including laptops, digital cameras, and more
- Check out reserve materials
- Review your library account and renew books
- Recall materials
- Request materials from other libraries through Interlibrary Loan services
Bring your Polar Express card to the library Circulation Desk to register for library services. First time users need to fill out a registration form available at any UAF library.
