Gary Bender Gary Bender is the Lead for OIT’s Training & Development Group at the University of Alaska. His background is as an educator and educational technologist with interests in mobile technology, social media in learning, and cMOOC’s
Christen Bouffard Christen in an instructional designer and has been working in distance education for 8 years. Recently, she has been exploring virtual worlds, parallel worlds, and augmented reality as platforms for learning. She finds the most interesting spaces are where these platforms intersect with social media and support user contribution, collaboration, and place-based learning.
Liz Humrickhouse Liz Humrickhouse is an Assistant Professor and Outreach Librarian at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her background is in library user instruction and digital marketing. She holds a Master’s degree in Library and Information Science and will begin a Master’s of Education program in Online Innovation and Design this summer.
Dr. Ute Kaden Dr. Kaden is an assistant professor of education in the School of Education, working primarily with secondary and graduate students in STEM areas.
Ilana Kingsley 

Ilana Kingsley is an Associate Professor and Web Librarian at the University of Alaska Fairbanks. Her background is in web development, information architecture, and indexing. She holds a Masters degree in Library Science and is currently enrolled in a Masters of Education program in Online Design and Innovation through UAF.

Nina Kominiak

Nina K. Kominiak is a Systems Engineer at Apple. Her technology background includes iOS development, various patents in mobile network security solutions, and designing technology solutions for education. She has also served as Adjunct Professor at universities in Alaska and overseas in the field of computer science.

Chris Malmberg Chris Malmberg is an Instructional Designer at eLearning and Distance Education, and the producer and host of the Educational Technology Podcast Digital Beards. He is fascinated with the relationship between storytelling and education, and is always studying new ways to tell stories.
Madara Mason Madara Mason is, at various times and in varying degrees, an Instructional Designer, an English Instructor, a food blogger and columnist for the Fairbanks Daily News Miner, and a professional artist and graphic designer. She holds an MA in Literature from the University of Alaska Fairbanks and has over a decade of teaching experience at the post-secondary level.
Dennis Moser Dennis is an Associate Professor of Library Science, Head of the Alaska & Polar Regions Collections & Archives, and performing/recording musician.
Jennifer Moss Jennifer Moss is an Instructional Designer and adjunct faculty at UAF eLearning. She has a background in all things design. Her current passions are Augmented Reality, mobile app development, multimedia and curation.
Don Peterson  Don is an Assistant Professor with the School of Education. He has provided photos and videos to various agencies such as SOE, U of A Statewide, AK Department of Fish and Game, and Kachemak Bay Research Reserve.
Shannon Thomas Shannon Thomas is an IT Engagement Specialist and Mobile Applications Developer for the University of Alaska. Shannon has a background is project management and native and HTML5 app implementations for iOS and Android.
Skip Via Skip is an instructor with the UAF School of Education. Areas of professional focus and personal interest include social media, disruptive technology, AR, professional development, music, graphics, and institutional reform, not necessarily in that order.
