http://www.youtube.com/user/tedstevensproject/

This YouTube site features video clips of the late U.S. Senator from Alaska, Ted Stevens (11/18/1923 — 08/09/2010). Most of the clips are from the Ted Stevens Papers Project and the rest are from the Alaska Film Archives.

The newest video is an interview with Stevens in 2005 about his experience after Pearl Harbor.

The video takes place in Senator Stevens’ Washington D.C. office and has never been published before. The interviewer is currently unknown.

Alaska Film Archives on YouTube

Moving images from the Alaska Film Archive are now available on YouTube,

http://www.youtube.com/user/alaskafilmarchives#p/u

Over a dozen clips of historical film footage have been loaded, including films of a sled dogs parade in Nome, early aviation, the 1967 Fairbanks flood, and a whale rescue in Barrow. Posting the clips is just one piece of the AFA’s efforts to collect, preserve, and make accessible Alaska’s film heritage.  The Alaska Film Archives is located on the 3rd floor of Rasmuson Library. Work in the Alaska Film Archives is funded in part by a generous bequest from Elmer E. Rasmuson.
